    Project AllSmiles Inc. is a (501(c)(3) organization, based in San Diego County, dedicated to improving access to preventive oral healthcare for underserved and vulnerable populations. Founded in 2023, Project AllSmiles builds upon the proven success of its for-profit partner organization, AllSmiles by Sarah St. John, RDHAP, to expand dental hygiene services with a public health-focused mission.

    Our programs address systemic barriers to dental care by delivering mobile and site-based services directly to communities that need them most. These include unhoused individuals, school-aged children, veterans, indigenous populations, LGBTQIA+ youth, low-income mothers, and immigrant communities.     Hi All! I am a longtime member of the SDCOHC. I am a Professor of Global Health Management and Policy in the School of Public Health at SDSU. My research areas include oral health disparities across the lifespan, minority health, health policy and more.     I have participated in the San Diego Oral Health Coalition since 2018; I am serving as the chair of the medical-dental integration workgroup within the Oral Health coalition.

    I am a pediatric dentist and work in a large FQHC as both a clinician and an educator.

    The San Diego and Imperial Counties Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP-CA3), a 501c3 organization, is a trusted leader for children’s health and well-being. In addition to providing member services for local pediatricians since 1961, the AAP-CA3 oversees several community projects in support of child health initiatives.

  • Consumer Health Advocates at Legal Aid Society of San Diego's Consumer Center for Health Education and Advocacy ("Consumer Center")

    The Consumer Center provides free health advocacy services to San Diegans. The Consumer Center helps San Diegans obtain and maintain coverage, and to overcome barriers to accessing needed care. The Consumer Center has no income and asset limitations, and legal services are free. Feel free to refer your patients - 1-877-734-3258.

    The Consumer Center can help dental and orthodonture patients access needed care. Health advocates and attorneys assist consumers overcome a variety of challenges:
