    May Webinar: Top 10 Ways Small Businesses Can Stay Out of Court plus Fair Chance Ordinance Training

    • This virtual event will highlight the top 10 tips to help small businesses navigate workforce development while avoiding legal hassles. Attendees will learn the simple steps to make their workplace more safe for all and how to comply with the San Diego County Fair Chance Ordinance. This webinar will feature guest speaker, Jennifer Shaw, of the Shaw Law Group.

    May Webinar: "Blue Sky" Emergency Preparedness: Equipping Organizations for Resiliency

    • In this webinar, you will learn about the 4 phases of emergency management, planning on "Blue Sky" days, or non-disaster days, and some tools to assess operations, collaborate with partners, and ensure communities are prepared for emergencies.

    April Networking Event: Smartphones and Youth Well-Being: A Networking Forum

    • In partnership with Alliance Healthcare Foundation and the San Diego County Office of Education, this networking event provided a forum to exchange ideas and best practices around smartphone use and youth well-being. Subject matter experts Dr. Jean Twenge and Dr. Willough Jenkins presented on these topics to help prepare education leaders, schools, and parents.

    March Webinar: County Contracts in 2025: What's New for Small Businesses

    • The Live Well San Diego Business Sector in partnership with the County of San Diego Department of Purchasing and Contracts (DPC) will present the upcoming policy changes aimed at increasing contracts awarded to small businesses in San Diego County. This virtual event will provide information on how to do business with the County and thrive!

    February Webinar: Leveraging Community Partnerships to Enhance Youth Mentorship Programs

    • In this virtual event, the County of San Diego Youth Sector joined by Big Brothers Big Sisters and Project Next will demonstrate how collaboration can transform youth mentorship programs to offer accessible, effective services to young people.

    January Webinar: Innovations in Mobile Health: Empowering Community-Based Partnerships for Better Access

    • Learn about transformative partnerships between TrueCare and California State University, San Marcos, and between the Live Well on Wheels and University of California San Diego.
